Well, Halloween is over so that can mean only one thing…it’s Christmas
time. Does anyone know what happened to Thanksgiving? Every year it just “pops
up out of nowhere” and all of a sudden I’m scurrying to decide
what to do. Every year I ultimately come to the same decision…turkey & dressing…only
variable is the dessert.
So now that we’ve settled the whole Thanksgiving thing, I’m announcing
to you that Christmas Open House is this Saturday, November 5 from 10 am – 5
pm. For us at Cadre, that makes the Christmas Season officially here!
We will have refreshments, prizes for the first 40 customers
to check out and Open House Specials throughout the day.

Kashwere Robes, Throws & Baby Blankets are here
again. These fantastic robes were showcased in Spa Finder Magazine as one of
the greatest robes ever
made. I quote from Mary Bemis, writer, “To wear

Egyptian Museum Blown and Cut Glass Ornaments. These are wonderfully made
sparkling ornaments that will be cherished for years to come. I bought mostly
red ornaments, but we have a large selection of gold and various pastels. This
is good gift for people who need nothing, but appreciate beautiful keepsake
ornaments. |

Landmark Ornaments are hand blown and painted in Germany and Poland. These
ornaments bring back those special memories of visiting far off places or living
in the city depicted. Currently we have representations of Paris, London, Venice,
Pisa, New York, San Francisco, New Orleans, Washington DC and I will soon have
Germany and Chicago. |

Our Collegiate fans are not to be forgotten….We do have limited quantities
of blown glass hand painted ornaments for Georgia, Florida, South Carolina,
Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Ohio State and North Carolina State.
Collegiate Car Cup Coasters are back in stock, but
these have been so popular that I have doubled the number of different schools
and they are on their way. . Hopefully, they will be here by Open House, but
if not they will be here the following week.
Collegiate Bath Robes will make a great gift for
that fan on your list. Currently, I have Georgia in stock, but can get other
schools if we order soon. They are incredibly soft and cuddly. Come see and
feel to believe. |
I hope all of you can join us for the fun and bargains at our Open
House this Saturday.
At the beginning of this Newsletter I made a joke about Thanksgiving, but
please know that I am so very thankful for all of you and all my many blessings.
On Thanksgiving Day the Methodist Church will serve 180 meals to needy
citizens
of Richmond Hill as they do every Thursday plus others who will come to
the church. As you can imagine many of the regular helpers who make this
possible
each week will be out of town or unable to work on Thanksgiving Day. If
you find that you would be able to help with this very worthwhile project,
please
call the church office at 756-2190 by Monday, November 21. Jo Anne
