Use of color in logos and graphics

When it comes to logo design, color scheme is an important part of the image you will present to the public. Think about some strong brands and the colors you associate with them, such as Coca Cola's red & white.

Here are some of the feelings that can be associated with colors:

Green - health, growth, renewal, and wealth. It can also be jealousy or inexperience.

Blue - security, authority, trust and dignity. Blue is a calming color, but some hues can also signify depression or sadness.

Yellow - warmth, hope, sunshine and happiness. It can also symbolize cowardice.

Orange - warmth, autumn and ambition. Orange has been known to stimulate the appetite.

Red - aggression, passion, love, and strength. Red is one of the most attention-getting colors.

Purple - spirituality, creativity, royalty, and mystery.

Pink - femininity, innocence, romance.

Brown - home, hearth. Can be used as either a warm or neutral color.

Gray - authority, maturity and security. Gray is a conservative color.

White - purity, truthfulness, cleanliness.

Black - power, elegance, and sophistication. It can also represent death.
